Hello! Thanks for stopping by my little corner in the NeftTI Directory. A bit about me…I am a settler living on Treaty 6 Territory in Saskatchewan, Canada. My introductory to somatic therapies began in 2014 as I traveled to Costa Rica while trying to find tools and resources to support my own recovery journey.
In 2018, I began my formal education, studying Energy Psychology tools at the National EFT Training Institute (NeftTI) in Canada and EFT International. I completed my Master certification (NeftTI) and Advanced certification (EFTi) in 2021 and the following year undertook Havening Touch practitioner training through the Center for Havening Research & Training Inc. (USA). In 2023, I was accepted to McMaster University’s Professional Addiction Studies program where I am still enrolled today and this year I traveled to Canada’s West Coast to undertake Recovery Coach training through Still Here. As you might have already guessed, I’m a forever student and I love learning.
My special interest is in Neurodivergence and how it intersects with addiction, including eating disorders – this is also where I have lived experience. In 2021, I launched an amateur research project looking at Acupressure Tapping as an intervention for adult AD[H]D symptoms with great success. Since then, I have had the greatest honour of working with Neurodivergent folks experiencing addiction through my private practice.
I am grateful to have carved out a path and career for myself that I absolutely love. My ultimate goal is to continue to educate individuals on the power of self-regulation and nervous system health while also empowering folks to take the lead in their own healing and recovery journey.
When I am not attending a workshop, reading, studying, presenting or working with clients you can find me traveling the globe in search of the best scenic views, nature trails, and walking paths.
